The Process Engineer II will ensure process control and implement improvements in the operations processes. This person will coordinate the commercialization of new products, processes, and innovations within the plant. Effective interaction with customers, Product Development Engineers,suppliers, and fellow employees will be key to success. Will lead the continuous improvement (variability & cost reduction) initiatives of the site. Will perform other duties as required to promote overall plant effectivenes
Essential Role Responsibilities
Individual Leadership: Using appropriate interpersonal styles and methods to guide individuals or groups and to gain acceptance of an idea, plan, activity or product; Evaluate situations and identify existing problems or opportunities. Gather and analyze the facts needed to determine the critical issues relative to problems and the most likely causes of and possible solutions to them.
Continuous Improvement: Will lead the continuous improvement (variability & cost reduction) initiatives of the site.
Analysis (problem identification) - Secure relevant information and identifying key issues and relationships from a base of information. Relate and compare data from different sources. Identify cause and effect relationships. Evaluate situations and identifying existing problems or opportunities - or visualize potential problems or opportunities. Gather and analyze the facts needed to determine the critical issues relative to problems and the most likely causes of and possible solutions.
Commit to an action after developing alternative courses that are based on logical assumptions and factual information and that take into consideration resources, constraints, and organizational values.
Set-up ongoing procedures for collection and review of information necessary for project management.
Customer Focus: Anticipate customer needs; give high priority to customer satisfaction.
External Customers: Direct customer visits
Analyze customer complaint issues
Monitor customer return rates
Maintain library of customer specifications
Participate in creating specs
Accumulate and supply data to customer on product quality
Provide the date for customer requested certifications.
Internal Customers: Provide leadership in transitioning new products from R&D to manufacturing; working closely with Product Development Engineers.
-Design and conduct experiments for process improvements in manufacturing and other administrative areas.
-Participate on equipment selection committee for process capability input.
-Be alert and vigilant for recommendations in the areas of safety and housekeeping.
-Assist manufacturing in writing operational procedures.
-Advise plant management of improvement or deterioration of overall plant quality.
-Cooperate with other process engineers/analysts in exchange of ideas, experiments and improvements.
Statistical Knowledge and Application:
Thorough knowledge of statistical variation.
Continual use of statistical tools (ie -Six Sigma)
Set-up, run, and analyze trial using design of experiment (DOE) methods.
Conduct capability studies.
Implement systems that assure continuous improvement strategies are achieved.
Design sampling plans for effective data analysis, process improvements and satisfaction of customer needs.
Measure and Audit:
Establish baselines and systems for measuring improvements in quality.
Conduct periodic quality audits.
Educational Requirements and Work Experience
Technical Degree (Required)
B.S. Engineering (Preferred)
1-2 yrs Film Products experience
3-5 yrs Engineering/Manufactuing experience
Critical Dimensions/Skills
Process knowledge of Film technology (cast / blown), relationships between product characteristics and process parameters, fundamentals of resin rheology, and control systems

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
