MAT Holdings is seeking a talented, experienced front-end web developer with strong WordPress experience to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating engaging digital experiences and understanding the latest web technologies and standards.
This role will involve designing, building, and maintaining MAT Holdings' corporate website and supporting multiple division websites and online business strategies.
Reporting to the Director of Corporate Marketing Shared Services, this hands-on role requires working with division marketing, digital/graphic design, videography, and IT functions to deliver solutions.
It also requires effective leadership and expertise in managing complex projects from start to finish.
Responsibilities and DutiesDesign, develop, and maintain responsive and SEO-friendly websites using WordPressConvert comprehensive layouts and wireframes into working HTML pagesExperience working with a variety of APIs and integrationsManage ongoing web administration, content management, and Google Analytics reporting as requiredCreate and maintain technical documentation related to website design and maintenanceTroubleshoot and resolve issues, problems, and errors encountered across our web properties, internal applications, and systems as reported or experiencedTest websites across browsers, operating systems, and devices for responsiveness and load timesMaintain updated knowledge of the development industry and any advancements in technologyQualifications
Qualifications:
At least 2-3 years of work experience as a Front End Developer with strong WordPress experienceMust have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related fieldProficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSSProficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworksWorking knowledge of PHP and server-side environmentStrong knowledge of UI/UX designGood understanding of SEO principles and ensuring the application will adhere to themSolid understanding of Google Analytics (GA4) reportingExperience with graphic design applications such as Adobe IllustratorExperience with responsive and adaptive designStrong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindsetExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelinesAbout the Company:
