Summary:
The primary responsibility of this role is to develop and implement optimal, cost effective CNC manufacturing processes and methods to meet quality specifications and quality standards.
In addition, the Manufacturing Engineer will recommend and implement improvements to production processes, coordinate manufacturing launches for new or revised products and provide training to team ensuring Quality standards and processes are used and are consistent with Company established goals for quality, safety and customer order on-time delivery.

Responsibilities:
Proficient use of CNC Programming Applications such as Solidworks / Mastercam for programming CNC Machines.
Proficient in the interpretation & use of schematics and engineering design drawings.
Comprehensive knowledge of quality, root cause analysis, corrective action, continuous improvement, lean and six sigma methodologies.
Experience with Horizontal / Vertical CNC Machining, tooling selection & work holding strategies.
Performs research, conducts product and process analysis in design, development and programming to improve the manufacturing process including production flow, assembly methods and CNC production equipment.
Facilitate continuous improvement in all processesDevelop, maintain and conduct training on Standard Operation Procedures (SOP)Coordinates manufacturing launch of new and revised products.
Extensive knowledge of GD&T and geometric toleranceing for machine components and fabrication.
Have strong critical thinking skills and ability to solve challenging problems.
Have strong Project Management skills.
Takes prompt action to accomplish objectives; takes action to achieve goals beyond what is required; must be proactiveUtilizes manpower, equipment, materials and assets to ensure minimal Manufacturing errors.
Reports to MFG Design Engineering ManagerParticipate in training and exploring opportunities to add value to job NBSP;accomplishments.
Demonstrating work behaviors consistent with the company values and work within prescribed boundaries, including company policies, standards, and procedures.
Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Documents all changes made and communicates all changes to properchannels.
Leverage and use ERP System to document actions by completing required work orders.
(Electronic logs).
Qualification Requirements:
Able to work flexible hours due to business needs product or equipment delays or unexpected eventAbility to read and speak English and those who speak Spanish or Polish is a plus.
Ability to use and understand basic computer skillsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university a plus.

years of mechanical design engineering experience.
Able to work independently and deliver on strict timelines with performance guarantees.
Able to work as part of a team, think creatively and problem solve.
Demonstrated experience with project planning and writing product and quality specifications.
Experience with Horizontal/Vertical CNC Machining, tooling selection & work holding strategies.
Experience creating design documentation (e.
g.
, theory of operation, 3D/2D CAD data, user manuals, etc.
) Hands-on experience assembling and troubleshooting mechanical systemsHands-on knowledge with SolidWorks, Mastercam programming at least 5 yrs.
