Summary:
The Human Resource Generalist will proactively work along with the HR Director to develop, lead , direct and coordinate the policies, activities, and staff of the Human Resource (HR) department, ensuring legal compliance and implementation of the organizations mission and talent strategy.
Handling employee personnel relations, assessing staffing needs, hiring employees, designing training programs and developing compensation plans.
The HR Generalist will be the link between Management and Employees.

Responsibilities:
Develop organization strategies by identifying and researching human resource issues.
Establishing department accountabilities.
Develops policies on attendance, discipline, code of ethics etc.
Hiring staff and negotiating employment agreements.
Identifying staffing needs and creating job descriptions.
Managing Compensation.
Managing staff wellness and performance reviews.
Maintaining staff records.
Handling employee benefits.
Handle workmen's comp injuries, ensuring safety policies are in place.
Designing and directing training programs Ensuring legal compliance with laws and regulations.
Supports management by providing human resources advice, counsel, and decisions (acts as a liaison between employees and management), motivating and supporting staff.
Handling employee personnel issues (dealing with employee grievances and disputes and counseling staff).
Collaborate with department managers to ensure training meets the objectives of department.
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
Diplomatic and negotiations skills, tact and the ability to deal with difficult situations.
Able to work flexible hours due to business needs.
Reports to HR Director Education Requirements:
BS in Human Resources or Business Degree and related experience.
Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification.
(Preferred but not required)5 plus years in Human Resource.
Ability to read and speak English to comprehend and participate in safety, hazard communication, company meetings and continuous training.
